We are a Nelson (NZ) based IANZ Accredited laboratory with over 50 years experience in materials testing for civil engineering projects and can perform all testing associated with construction.

Our services cover on-site and laboratory testing for dams, roads, subdivisions,
and building sites.

Laboratory Manager Mick Zeewoldt has 33 years experience working on large projects in the north west of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. This includes working for Opus International Consultants NZ in the Gisborne/East Coast area for 5 years and the Nelson area for 8 years. Mick started Civil Engineering Laboratory Services Ltd in 2004.

Assistant Laboratory Manager Robbie Burns joined the company in February 2007 and has 18 years experience. He started with the Ministry of Works in Gisborne and has also worked in Nelson for Opus International Consultants.
